Partially outsourcing operational services, such as worldwide fuel supply at reduced prices (same as OMA); ground handling as well as 24 hours flight operations. The “FSA” is ideal, for example, if the owner employs his own crew directly, and/or if the aircraft is insured by the owner but still requires a professional flight operation. In the “FSA” the owner is legally also the operator, but the basic economical and operational benefits of this agreement remain the same as in the “OMA”. The “FSA” is a very flexible agreement inasmuch as the owner may choose exactly those services required to suit his personal needs best. In case of an “FSA” only (Flight Support Agreement), there is no obligation to have maintenance work performed through the Lions Air Group, though this service has also been offered to many FSA-customers. Experience has shown that an in-house co-ordination of operational and maintenance aspects works best in terms of efficient planning and communication between the owner and Lions Air. |
